On May 21 Nathan and William, along with their friends Sofus and Haseeb, represented ICS at the first annual Swiss Group of International Schools (SGIS) Maths Quest! They were selected from 4th and 5th graders based on their math skills...they went to a lunchtime club once a week with their coaches Mr. Heslop and Ms. Bruce-Mueller, and it culminated in this full day event at Zurich International School. Out of 12 teams they came in 6th, which is not so bad! And, most importantly, they had a lot of fun. They had some individual challenges and some team challenges, and they said it was great. Sofus and Haseeb are good friends of Nate's (also in 5th grade), so it was fun. And William was happy to be chosen for the team. We didn't know if he would be eligible, since he wasn't in 5th grade, but he was of course proud to beat out some other 5th graders for a spot on the team. Congrats to these boys!
